Miatas At The Gap XIV July 23-25, 2010 - A Highlight Video
Miatas At The Gap XIV, a gathering of Miata enthusiasts at Deals Gap, North Carolina, took place the weekend of July 23-25, 2010. This is a video of highlights from the event, including footage from Fontana Village, sections of the Cherohala Skyway, The Tail Of The Dragon and the Moonshiner 28, the group picture on the Fontana Village ball field, the Saturday Night Beer Swap and Wine tasting and of course the beautiful scenery. Enjoy the highlights along with my music, which was written specifically for this event.
Special thanks to Fontana Village Resort, Fontana, NC for going out of their way to make sure we all had a great time. We will be back!
Altitude Changes Attitude by ARKiV - The People Of Miatas At The Gap XIV
Miatas At The Gap XIV, a gathering of Miata enthusiasts at Deals Gap, North Carolina, took place the weekend of July 23-25, 2010. While the main attraction to the Deals Gap area is definitely the roads, one of the highlights of the weekend is the opportunity to hang out with fellow Miata owners, swap stories, gaze at other people's cars and share the passions of Roadster ownership with friends old and new. This video showcases the camaraderie and diversity of those who attended MATG. If you were there, you might just see yourself (or your car) in this video!
"The Mountains make it beautiful, the Cars make it fun, but the People make it great."
One Twenty Nine by ARKiV - A Tribute to The Tail Of The Dragon
Twisting through remote forests in the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee is a road like no other. With 318 turns in 11 miles, US 129, also known as "The Tail Of The Dragon" ranks at or near the top of every motorcycle and sports car owner's list of destination roads. Every kind of vehicle imaginable can be found here on any given weekend. Unforgiving of even the slightest mistake, the "Dragon" has been known to claim it's share of victims. Hang on tight as we twist and turn through this amazing stretch of highway! This is the road. This is the reason. This is "The Tail Of The Dragon."
